Meat processors and suppliers wanting to improve quality and boost their bottom line are being urged to see TOMRA Sorting Food’s popular QVision 500 fat analyser in action this month.
TOMRA Sorting Food will be located at Booth B-8327 at the International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE), which is taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center, in Atlanta, January 27-29.
The innovative system can analyze both fresh and frozen meat and measures fat, moisture, protein and collagen simultaneously, and in real-time, delivering highly accurate and consistent results. The hygienic and robust analyzer penetrates up to 1“deep into the meat and measures across the full 20” width of its conveyor belt.
Thorsten Niermeyer, business unit manager process analytics at TOMRA Sorting Food, says: “The QVision’s unique interactance spectroscopy technology is cutting-edge and sets a new standard for in-line meat analysis. We have made great efforts to design the system to meet the meat industry’s demanding requirements and address the needs of our customers.
“The QVision is able to analyze up to 30 tons per hour, making it an ideal choice for high volume meat processors. Also for small and medium batch size processors, due to the accuracy of the QVision, it allows precise recipe formulation. Visitors to our booth at IPPE will be able to see the machine in action and ask questions directly to the TOMRA team about how it will benefit their processes.”
The International Production & Processing Expo is one of the world's largest annual poultry, meat and feed industry event and brings together more than 1,250 exhibitors and 30,000 visitors from around the world.
